As the Registrar, Kim Lewis directs and oversees all activities of the Office of the Registrar. Those responsibilities include providing academic support in the creation of the annual academic calendar, maintaining an inventory of approved degrees and majors, providing operational reports and student communications, assisting academic units in the development and implementation of academic advising reports, inventory of course offerings and student enrollment in those courses, degree conferral, diploma production, official academic record maintenance, faculty grade and student performance processing. In addition, the Registrar’s office provides various services to students including enrollment and degree verification, official transcripts, and registration eligibility. The Registrar also enforces regulations including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, immunization requirements, determining student residency for fee-paying purposes, private student data access and various faculty policies focused on enrollment and grading and works with central colleagues on new system and business process implementation.
