Terry Brown is the Director of the Office for Enrollment Strategy and Insights for the Division of Enrollment Management. Terry is a marketing and communication strategy professional with 40+ years of experience in higher education.

As the Director of the Office for Enrollment Strategy and Insights in the Division of Enrollment Management, Terry’s role is primarily responsible for advancing Goal 4 in the IUPUI Strategic Enrollment Plan: Optimize Enrollment Management. Key activities include leading the Office for Enrollment Strategy and Insights in transforming data into information, information into insights, and insights into strategies and better-informed enrollment communication and marketing decisions.

By collaborating with key stakeholders across campus, Terry is integral in managing data activities for the Division, including extracting value and insights from the varied and broad data sources, both internal and external. ESI leverages recruitment and enrollment data for strategic decision-making for effective short- and long-term enrollment, recruitment, and persistence planning.
